For the remainder of 1902 and most of 1903, Lajoie and Flick traveled separately from the rest of the team, needing to avoid entering Pennsylvania so as to avoid a subpoena (the only team they could legally play with inside state limits was the Phillies). When the Naps went to play in Philadelphia, Lajoie and Bernhard would go to nearby Atlantic City to help pass the time. : The issue was finally resolved when the leagues made peace through the National Agreement in September 1903 (which also brought the formation of the World Series ). : : To begin the 1903 season, the club changed its name from the Bronchos to the Naps in honor of Lajoie after a readers' poll result was released by the Cleveland Press . : (The team was officially the Blues in their inaugural AL season but changed to the Bronchos for the 1902 season.) The Bronchos finished the season 77–63 and Lajoie finished his first full season with the club again the AL's batting champion with a .344 average. He also led the league in slugging percentage (.518), finished second in doubles (41), third in RBIs (93) and tied for fifth in home runs (7). In the off-season he contracted pleurisy .

In Hebrew, it's known as ha-kotel ha-ma'aravi. In English, it's usually referred to as the Wailing Wall or the Western Wall. But whatever you call it, it's old "¦ as in 2,000 years old. The Wall is all that remains of Jerusalem's Second Temple. King Solomon built the First Temple around 960 BCE, but after the Babylonians destroyed it and expelled the Jews from the region, construction began on its replacement. The Second Temple's luck wasn't much better. In 70 CE, the Romans flattened it—all but the Western Wall. Some historians claim Emperor Titus left this small section standing to remind the Jews who was in charge. The Jewish faithful, however, choose to view it as God's way of showing them that He hasn't forgotten about their whole "chosen" pact.
Westerners, observing Jewish worshippers crying over the destruction of the temple, dubbed it the Wailing Wall. But the appellation belies the site's much greater religious significance. For Jews, the Wall symbolizes God's presence, which is why millions of people come from all over the world to pray before the structure and insert written prayers into its crevices.
Unfortunately, as in just about everything else in the Middle East, the Wailing Wall is a point of controversy between Muslims and Jews. That's because the site is also home to the Dome of the Rock, one of the holiest sites in the Islamic religion. Muslims believe it's where Mohammed ascended into heaven with the messenger archangel, Gabriel.
Good Monday night/Tuesday AM. I hope you had a great weekend! Mine wasn’t to bad. However, the Chiefs lost and played like they didn’t have a heartbeat. Ugh, well they were going to come out flat sometime. Monday was great! I was very productive and got a ton done. Well the weather is pretty calm over the next few days with great temperatures. Our next system is on Saturday. At this time it looks like showers and thunderstorms late in the day into the overnight hours Saturday night. We will cool down a bit after this system but warm back up at the beginning of next week. Then it gets interesting. We have a much stronger system that rolls in next Thursday and Friday. Now remember, the new pattern has started and will be in place for the next year. The cycle length has been set for about two months and is now reacting with the new pattern. So when I say cycle length, that means how far apart are the same storm systems rolling through. For instance, this past year we were on a 58 day cycle. That means if a storm system rolls through, then that same system will roll through again in 58 days. This years cycle is a little bit shorter. So lets look at the system next Thursday and Friday.
